Jamestown Water Supply Project Awarded ACEC/MA Silver Award
FST received a Silver Award for their submission, "Fitting the Pieces Together: Jamestown's Water Supply Dilemma" from the American Council of Engineering Companies of Massachusetts. During a summer drought in 1993, the National Guard was forced to truck in 7.5 million gallons of water to the island community of Jamestown, RI. Beginning in 1998, FST has worked with Jamestown to meet its water quantity and quality challenges. The implementation of a series of innovative, simple concepts has doubled the water supply and storage capabilities.
