About this Project
As part of this agency’s Public Access Program, Fay, Spofford & Thorndike (FST) was selected to provide multidiscipline services for various sites throughout the state. Under this program, facilities can vary from rural, primitive canoe drop sites to large, complex installations.
FST was responsible for planning and design of an important program at Dover Point, with new boat launching facilities to replace the existing gravel ramp. The amenities include several elements such as a new launching ramp, a new jetty, and fishing platforms (fully ADA compliant). The firm also addressed environmental requirements, the need for site access, and circulation provisions as well as new parking.
