About this Project
US Route 3 Bedford Mainline Toll Plaza Prism Signs Installation
FST designed a system of heavy structural steel framing mounted above the existing toll plaza canopy for the support of electronic prism signs at the US Route 3/F.E. Evertt Turnpike (FEET) Bedford Mainline Toll Plaza facility. Structural analysis computer modeling of the canopy structure indicated that reinforcement of the roof girders knee braces was also required to support the additional loads.
US Route 3 FEET Merrimack Exist 10 SB On-Ramp Toll Plaza Prism Signs Installation
As part of the Merrimack Premium Outlets Development, the addition of prism signs to the Toll plaza was included in an effort to improve traffic flow which was anticipated to be increased as a result of the new development. FST designed a system of heavy structural steel framing mounted above the existing toll plaza canopy for the support of electronic prism signs and electrical design was also provided for power and controls for the addition of the signs. Removal of the existing signage and construction phasing and coordination were also incorporated.
